The Placement Office handles all facets of campus placements for the graduating students of IIT Indore. This involves establishing contact with companies, arranging for tests and group discussions, holding pre-placement talks, conducting final interviews, and any other kind of recruitment related activity. Well equipped with first-rate infrastructure, the Cell caters to all the requirements of organizations, at every stage of the placement process.

 | The year 2009 saw the birth of Indian Institute of Technology Indore, one of the new IITs established by the Government of India. Within its short span of two years, IIT Indore has already carved a niche for itself among the leading technological institutes of India. IIT Indore's main objective, besides technology, education and research is to contribute largely to nation building and also to make great strides technologically on the international arena. Its focus has been on impact oriented and state-of-the-art research with special emphasis on interdisciplinary training in Schools of Engineering, Science and Humanities and Social Sciences. The students have shown their mettle as the future pioneers in industry, technology, research and sports both at national and international levels. IIT Indore also boasts of highly qualified experienced faculty members who are specialised in various areas of research with emphasis on imparting more rigorous training, quality education and interdisciplinary research programmes to the students. The institute has established link-up with international institutions and we are looking forward to establish strong industry-academic relationship in the years to come.  | It is my great honour to invite the Industries, Universities and Research Labs to Indian Institute of Technology Indore to interact with our dynamic students for summer Internship/Training and to conduct campus placement in the future. IIT Indore is a brain child of IIT system in India which was established by the Government of India in 2009. The aim of IIT Indore is to produce high quality technocrats and scientists for the welfare of modern society and cater to the needs of industries and institutions in the present scenario. Presently, IIT Indore is running its 3rd batch of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in various disciplines: The Institute has three Schools, namely School of Basic Sciences (SoBS) consisting of three disciplines Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, School of Engineering (SoE) consisting of three disciplines: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mechanical Engineering (ME) and School of Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS) consisting of three disciplines: Economics, English and Philosophy. The high quality, flexible and dynamic curriculum at IIT Indore has led to the development of various technologies as per the requirement of industry and society. Our versatile students participate and organize various technical, cultural, sports and literary activities throughout the year. IIT Indore has developed some world class research labs and some are in the developing stage with the aid of national and international collaboration and research funds for our bachelor and research students. IIT Indore has earned excellence in academics and extra‐curricular activities in India and abroad in merely two years of its inception.
